Spreads

What Spreads and Swaps are?

In forex trading, spread refers to the difference between the bid price (the price at which you can sell a currency pair) and the ask price (the price at which you can buy it). The spread represents the broker’s profit and is typically measured in pips.
Swaps (or rollover fees) are the interest rates charged or earned when you hold a position overnight. They occur due to the difference in interest rates between the two currencies in a currency pair. Depending on the interest rate differential, you may either pay or receive a swap fee.
